A dog, an ex-prisoner, and his son wander alone in the vastness of a dystopian desert. Their journey through this landscape transforms them – Ibrahim learns forgiveness, his son becomes angry, and the dog finds a cause.

Ihab Jadallah was born in 1980. An award-winning Palestinian director and producer, he obtained a BA in audio- visual communication from CEU San Pablo in Valencia, Spain, in 2004, following which he studied at the Centre for Cinematographic Studies in Barcelona. He has written, directed, and produced several highly acclaimed short films, including the guerrilla-style The Shooter (2007). The Flower Seller (2010), a thriller set in the West Bank, was a competition selection at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. The screenplay for his feature-length Desert Dogs was selected for the Development Lab at EICTV in Cuba, and received a grant from the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture.
