In light of the genocide that our Palestinian people are going through, the ongoing war on our beloved Gaza, and the challenges facing the Palestinian narrative, the Palestine Film Institute emphasizes the importance of participation and the urgent necessity of supporting Palestinian documentary films in international forums. Thus, the PFI, in collaboration with Sheffield Doc/Fest, is organising the Palestine Delegation Showcase at the Sheffield Doc/Fest Market between 18th-23rd June 2025.
This is an opportunity for filmmakers and producers from Palestine (regardless of citizenship), or with projects related to Palestine, to present their feature documentaries in any stage of production, in front of a selected group of decision-makers and festival programmers.
Up to three film projects will be selected by an international jury. The selected teams will have access to strategic coaching by PFI industry consultants before the event and will be granted accreditations, accommodation and support to attend the Sheffield Doc/Fest Market.
In order to submit, the following documents are required:
1. Film title & brief synopsis line (maximum 150 words.)
2. Longer Synopsis (1 page maximum).
3. Director’s Statement, including reasons for making the film, and artistic ideas about the visuals, sound (1 page).
4. Three stills from the project (if available)
5. Selected scenes / trailer (if available)
6. Budget & confirmed financial plan
7. Director and producer bio / filmographies.
8. Production company’s portfolio (if applicable)

* All documents should be submitted in English in a single PDF file.
في ظل الإبادة الجماعية التي يمر بها الشعب الفلسطيني، والحرب المستمرة على مدينتنا الحبيبة غزة، والتحديات التي تواجه الرواية الفلسطينية، تؤكد مؤسسة الفيلم الفلسطيني على أهمية توسيع وتنويع الوصول والتشبيك لصانعي الأفلام الفلسطينيين مع التأكيد على الضرورة الملحة لدعم الأفلام الفلسطينية في المحافل الدولية. وبالتالي، تعمل مؤسسة الفيلم الفلسطيني، بالتعاون مع مهرجان شيفيلد للأفلام الوثائقية السينمائي على تنظيم مشاركة الوفد الفلسطيني في سوق مهرجان شيفيلد السينمائي و الفعاليات التابعة له في الفترة من ١٨ إلى ٢٣ يونيو.
هذه فرصة لصانعي الأفلام والمنتجين من فلسطين (بغض النظر عن الجنسية) لعرض مشاريع أفلامهم الوثائقية الطويلة، عن أو حول فلسطين وفي أي مرحلة من مراحل الإنتاج أمام مجموعة مختارة من صناع القرار ومبرمجي المهرجانات.
سيتم اختيار ٣ مشاريع أفلام من قبل لجنة تحكيم مستقلة، وستحصل المشاريع المختارة على تدريب استراتيجي من قبل مستشاري التطوير في المؤسسة قبل المهرجان. سيتم منح المشاركين الاعتمادات المناسبة لحضور سوق مهرجان شيفيلد السينمائي إلى جانب تغطية الإقامة في مدينة شيفيلد خلال المهرجان.
للتقديم، الرجاء ارسال المستندات المطلوبة كالتالي:
عنوان الفيلم وملخص قصير (١٥٠ كلمة كحد أقصى).
ملخص قصير (صفحة واحدة كحد أقصى).
كلمة المخرج اللتي تشمل الدوافع وراء عمل الفيلم والمعالجة الفنية للصورة و الصوت (صفحة واحدة).
ثلاث صور فوتوغرافية من المشروع ( إذا كان متوفرا).
مشاهد مختارة/ مقطع ترويجي (إذا كان متوفرا).
ميزانية الإنتاج و الخطة المالية المؤكدة.
سير ذاتية وفلمية (المخرج و المنتج).
البروفايل الخاص بشركة الإنتاج (في حال توفر شركة إنتاج ).
