In partnership with IDFA, PFI is proud to return to Amsterdam and present the 6th annual Palestine Showcase at IDFA’s Market from 14 to 18 November 2026. The Showcase will feature three in-progress Palestinian feature documentaries, offering filmmakers the chance to connect with decision-makers and festival programmers. This year's Showcase will also include a special project focused on Sudan, promoting solidarity across borders.
Despite ongoing challenges, PFI emphasizes the power of cinema as a tool of resistance and is committed to supporting Palestinian films internationally.
Amid the ongoing struggle to preserve and sustain Palestinian narrative and cinematic continuity, the Palestine Film Institute (PFI) engages international platforms such as IDFA as spaces for structured connection and collaboration. Through this Showcase, PFI presents three Palestinian documentaries in progress, in addition to a special project focused on Sudan, promoting solidarity across borders. Offering filmmakers and producers the opportunity to engage directly with decision-makers and festival programmers. PFI’s role in this Showcase is to support the conditions through which these encounters can translate into meaningful outcomes, by advancing projects, fostering partnerships, and opening pathways for long-term production and circulation.
