Jerusalem International Film Festival

The Jerusalem International Film Festival was launched in 2009 as an initiative by a group of Palestinian filmmakers. After a seven-year hiatus due to war and the ongoing siege on Gaza, the festival returned in 2017, becoming a vital contribution to the creation of a cinematic space within the besieged Gaza Strip. Cinematic culture plays a key role in deepening the visual perspective of both filmmakers and audiences. The organizers continually work to develop the festival by building on the achievements, successes, and lessons learned from previous editions.
