Rencontres Cinématographiques Palestine: Filmer C’est Exister
Rencontres Cinématographiques Palestine, Filmer C’est Exister–PFC’E (Cinematographic Encounters Palestine, To Film Is To Exist) has been held annually in Geneva since 2012. Each year, around November 29—the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People—PFC’E presents a selection of short and feature-length films by Palestinian filmmakers, curated around one or more central themes. The festival aims to introduce audiences in French-speaking Switzerland to the daily realities of the Palestinian people and to foster dialogue on the social, economic, political, and cultural issues surrounding resistance, occupation, colonization, and exile—through the lens of Palestinian filmmakers, wherever they reside.
Each edition features the presence of five Palestinian filmmakers in Geneva.
