Displaced Pictures
Displaced Pictures is an international production company specializing in socially conscious entertainment, with a focus on character-driven films and television series exploring cross-cultural, immigrant, and Arab world themes. The company was founded in 2009 by Palestinian American filmmaker Cherien Dabis, following the success of her critically acclaimed debut feature Amreeka (2009), which won the International Critics’ Prize at the Cannes Film Festival that same year.
