Nakba FilmWorks
Nakba FilmWorks is a London-based film production company primarily dedicated to the work of writer and director Mahdi Fleifel. Established in 2010 by Fleifel and Irish-born producer Patrick Campbell, the company gained international recognition with the critically acclaimed feature documentary A World Not Ours (2012), and many other projects such as I Signed the Petition (2018) and To a Land Unknown (2024). Nakba FilmWorks focuses on stories that explore themes of identity and belonging, intentionally moving beyond conventional victim-perpetrator narratives to highlight the individuals and personalities that shape the worlds depicted.
