Established in 2011, SakADo produces films that focus on rendered narratives and alternative production methods, representing a new generation of filmmakers from the Middle East. The company’s titles include Damascus, My First Kiss and Yamo, both of which premiered at international film festivals. SakADo also produced Ibrahim, a documentary by Lina Al-Abed that explores the meaning of homeland from the perspective of a refugee, through the personal story of her father’s disappearance in 1987.
